Kelly Paterson

Kelly Paterson, born in Montreal in 1960, is an artist fully devoted to her art. Every day, she makes it her duty to paint and imposes an exemplary discipline in the research of her work. Her inspiration comes from her multiple points of interest, among others, nature. This nature that we rub shoulders with every day, the one that fascinates us and amazes us with so much beauty in its evolution and in its expression; its colors, its shapes, its movements.

We also see the light. Sometimes discreet, sometimes sustained, it imposes itself or insinuates itself. It is she who allows us to appreciate all the shades of color. This ability to express oneself with color is an endless story of creation, it is renewed according to inspiration. Her work is evolving. She shapes her paintings with pleasure, but above all taking into account the challenge of abstraction, the expression of emotion still unexpressed, unexplored. It is expressed in texture, relief at the same time as color in the emotion of the moment.
