Camille Girard

Camille is a self-taught portrait photographer, who specializes in self-portraits.

Born in Canada, she moved to Mexico at the age of 7 to live there for a few years. It was there that she began to adopt the camera and natural light as tools to express her creativity. Using her tripod, she depicts scenes with herself as the main character. She started her own photo company at the age of 19 and quickly carved out a place for herself among the most renowned photographers in Guadalajara.

In 2015 she returned to Canada and planned to restart her business, but fell in love with travel and began working as a flight attendant. That is when she decided to mix travel and self-portrait.

Now, she travels the world carrying her camera and tripod in search of surreal and colorful places, tracking sunsets and starry nights to represent dreamlike and poetic scenes.

Her work is frequently published in online photography journals such as Fstoppers, Vogue Italy, LooksLikeFilm, etc.
