For Karen, painting is only the personal culmination of an approach in her life where art, in all its forms, is omnipresent.

Her art is cosmopolitan, she paints for astonishment and surpassing oneself. Her approach is free and open, just like her works. She never knows the outcome of her work, she likes to keep this part of the unknown, of doubt, which are essential to her creative mind. According to Karen, a paint is always open and in motion. It never has a fixed meaning. It continues to live and develop through the perception of each one, it will never be the culmination of a unique and accomplished work. The work exists by itself with his own energy, in the eyes of others. The interpretation, perceptions and emotions felt remain personal to the viewer. This is how her work translates into all cultures, since art, for Karen, has no borders.

A canvas is for her a space where everything becomes possible, a way to express her vision of life. It is not inspired by the past, the present or the future. She wants her timeless project.

Art is a gift of self, an expression of pure freedom. Art is a way of expressing the human soul, it is an open window and the possibilities of creation are endless.
